Honestly, the pre-college experience was different for me and I had troubles adjusting. The work wasn't hard, but time management and adjusting were indeed major problems.
Pre-College was a helpful exprience that familiarized me with college life and the campus of Fisk University. The tedious schedule and amount of work makes my fall schedule seem alot more doable. Even though this program was helpful, I feel the progress had ended after four weeks.
I was not enjoying myself at the beginning of the program, but that’s because I only went to class and then back to my bedroom. When I began to come out of my room I started to have fun and met one of my closet friends. I then began to love with the experience.
Pre-college was a life changing experience. I have learned academic and social lessons that have transformed my life completely. How I carry myself as an individual and how to manage my time wisely are two of the things I have attained from this program. The program cold have been a little shorted, however I am blessed to be a part of this group and I’m thankful for the opportunities this program has given me.
Pre-college allowed me to get to know the faculty and staff and my classmates before the school year began. Most of the participants were homesick but they soon realized that we are now adults.
My pre-college experience was great. The growth I obtained during the 6 week program has helped me to grow academically and socially, and to become acclimated into the college environment. Overall it was fun.
It was a good experience that helped to provide me with new techniques for studying and test preparation
